Earlier this year LG announced the roll out of its M3 OLED smart TV which will be wireless (except for the power cord) and can be placed anywhere. It is the next step forward in streaming content to a large, attractive display. The screens will potentially range from 77 to 97 inches. Speculation is the price will start at $13,000 for the smallest and could be $25,000+ for the largest.
The ultra-flat TV still needs a box with connection ports for plugging in your goodies but it can be placed in a nearby spot like on a shelf. For those that appreciate a clean, streamlined look in their home this is a great step forward in technology. Check out LG's website for more details. The folks at We PC did a deeper dive if you want more information and their assessment of the technology itself.
