Governor Newsom recently signed Senate Bill 9 into law to theoretically help the house shortage in California. I am not a fan because it takes zoning out of the hands of the local municipalities and I also don't think it will have any real impact on housing. It certainly will keep some lawyers busy fighting it out in court. Take a peek at the graphic below. What do you think?
