Buyers are often so focused on finding the right property and following today's interest rate that they may overlook other things that are important when buying a house. Of course finding the right property is the most important piece of the puzzle but things like your credit score, how much you really need to put down (it doesn't need to be 20 percent) and mistakenly assuming you can get approved for a loan instantly are also pieces to a complete puzzle.
