You know what makes me mad? People who take advantage of seniors. A couple in Ohio forged and filed documents to steal a house from a man who had dementia. The two had the deed notarized after a notary was given a forged power of attorney for the homeowner. The owner had been recently moved to a care facility and, luckily, the daughter got wind of the scam and contacted the police. I can feel my blood pressure going up just thinking about it. This kind of thing happens more frequently than you would think. In real estate there is a lot of room for abuse. Please take care of your seniors. One thing you can do when it does come time to sell a family home is use a Certified Seniors Real Estate Specialist. (I am one.)
