Existing, single-family home sales totaled 274,040 annualized in October, down 10.4 percent from September and down 36.9 percent from October 2021.
The statewide median home price for October was $801,190 down 2.5 percent from September and up 0.3 percent from October 2021.
The unsold inventory index in October was 3.3 months, up 13.8 percent from September and below the long-run average of about 7 months.
The good news is that last week interest rates dropped so we are seeing an uptick in mortgage applications which is encouraging.
