Inventory is low. Prices are high. These two make it tough for first-time home buyers to enter the real estate market. There are some areas where you can still get a single family home for under $400,000 but they are getting more difficult to find. Home builders aren't keeping up with demand for a variety of reasons and it is impacting those trying to buy as our population continues to grow.
