In this week's report ending June 1, the number of homes sold in the San Diego Metro Area market slid to 3,139 over the past 30 days. It marked a decrease of 9.4% from last week's report and a fall below the monthly average. San Diego County (which includes the unincorporated areas of Mt. Helix) , which is part of the San Diego Metro Area, had the most home sales within the area, with 3,139. Prices were able to climb as this week's reported median sales price of $525,000 continued a 12-week upswing. Despite the slip in sales, a relatively low three months of inventory indicates that the San Diego Metro Area is a seller's market.
